Client Profile:  Single Screen Cinema Present Technology:  Standard Single Line Telephone Service Operational Considerations
Current Technology Challenges and Problems:
  • Callers complain of busy signals nights and weekends. (blockage)
  • Authorized callers need ability to reach staff without answering/screening each call.
  • Size of operation does not require on-site office or manager, however routine business calls require handling.  My only option now is to provide my cell phone or home number which I would prefer to not disclose.
  • Telephone company voice mail is programmed to answer after 4 rings.  When the cinema is closed, this is inconvenient for callers.
  • Voicemail announcement recording time is limited.  I can not provide as much detail as I would like to callers.
  • Voicemail/answering system can not be set to announce only.  Everyday numerous hang-up/non-essential voicemails are left which require review and deletion.  At times non-essential messages fill recording space and prevent important messages from being left.
  • Monthly phone bill is $49.24 for single line service(1) with voicemail before any 911 charges, taxes or long distance.
Proposed Technology Provides:
  • Multiple simultaneous call handling eliminates blockage.
  • Hidden or Announced key press options to bypass announcements and reach personnel or alternate unpublished numbers.
  • Announcements and call handling scheduled by time and date.
  • Voice Announcements are tailored to your requirements with flexible recording lengths.
  • Call answering services are a true announcement service.  Message recording capabilities are fully customizable to your business model.  (Callers can press "0" to speak to someone and leave a message if they are unavailable.  These calls are routed to managers cell phone during weekdays and the cinema during nights and weekends).
  • Unlimited inbound calling with Cinema Voice Announcement services up to 20 simultaneous channels $12.00 per month(2).
  • U.S. long distance billed at 1.6 cents per minute(3).
  • Proposed Annual Cost Savings of $300.00 per location.

Proposed Installation, Conversion and Service Roll-out

Cost Analysis - Favors SIP based call routing

Initiate porting order to transfer existing published number service to newly established SIP/DID line.  Install appropriate analog telephone adapter, gateway or telephone equipment as required.  Upon completion of porting and directory listing order, terminate LCEC service.

Cost Analysis - Favors Traditional LCEC or blended call routing

Install appropriate analog telephone adapter, gateway or telephone equipment to provide least cost routing of calls retaining LCEC line for termination of calls.

90-Day Analysis

Review client requirements to ensure cost savings potential is realized.  Review and recommend as necessary.
